The town is in the perimeter of Lake Texcoco, with one of the main canals flowing through it towards the city. The Natives travel on the waterway using their wooden canoes. Ordinarily, there is a lot of water in the lake and canal, especially during rainy seasons; as a result, it is humid. Breezes run through the town throughout the year, with the northern wind ordinarily blowing through it January onwards.
