About
Tag people, places, building names in Southern Architect and Building News (SABN) was the premiere architectural publication in the South between 1882/9-1932. This collection includes issues from The Southern Architect, Southern Architect and Building News, and Concrete Age. It is a record of the professionalization of the field, documenting both local and national issues related to various aspects of construction. Many of the issues document construction projects and practicing architects throughout the South. Texas architecture is consistently portrayed among its pages, and the Alexander Architectural Archives holds the records of some of the architects featured.
