possible. The entire work of setting up
the boilers and of the arrangement of the
pipes will be done under the immediate
direction of the manufacturers and accord-
ing to their own plans and specifications.
The company have made their system of
greenhouse heating a special branch of
their business, and have been awarded cer-
tificates of honor at several Eloricultural
conventions, notably at Boston, Buffalo
and Toronto. They have placed their
apparatus in many of the largest florist
establishments in the country, and we are
pleased to note this recognition of the well
known qualities of their heaters. —Florist's

The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy
which is the largest pharmaceutical edu-
cational institution in the world is putting
up a large and substantial addition to their
present building. The front will be laid
with Samuel H. French Sc Co.’s Pompeian
Buff Peerless Color and the Eastern Hy-
draulic Press Brick Co.’s Pompeian brick
of special shade; the trimmings are Seneca
red stone. The tile work in the building
will also he done by Samuel,H. French &
Co., and consist of a very elaborate hall-
way'floor and side walls, the latter in a pat-
tern of fleur delis, being surmounted with
a border of the college colors, blue and
white. The building will he six stories
high.
"W e are furnishing for the floor of the
Philadelphia and Reading Railroad Term-
inal Train Shed here 45,000 pieces of floor
glass, f-inch thick, which serves at the
same time' for flooring and to give light
between the tracks into the market be-
neath. This is very
unusual in railroad
station construction.
